How to Unlock the iPhone 3G free easy

The Apple iPhone 3G is one of the most versatile smart phones on the market. However, it is only available on AT&T in North America and select carriers worldwide. You can unlock a 3G iPhone and remove the SIM card restriction so that it will work on other 3G networks. In order to unlock an iPhone, you must first jailbreak it. Jailbreaking an iPhone allows you to install unofficial software on your device, such as unlock tools.
1.Install the latest version of iTunes. You should first check the Dev-Team Blog website (see Sources) to verify that the latest versions of their jailbreak tools are compatible with the latest version of iTunes.
2.Obtain a download bundle for the latest iOS version. Jailbreak tools usually are written for the latest version of iOS.
Conduct an Internet search for "Download iOS for iPhone 3G."
Select a reputable site (such as ihackintosh.com) and download the appropriate .ipsw file for your 3G. If you are an iPhone developer, or know someone who is, you can obtain this file through the Apple iOS Developer Program.
Save this file in an easily accessible location, such as your Desktop folder.
3.Download the latest version of PwnageTool.
Make sure you have torrent software installed so that you will be able to download the necessary installation files.
Go to the Dev-Team Blog.
Click the "PwnageTool Info" link and follow the instructions for downloading the executable.
Once downloaded, launch the installation file and follow the prompts
4.Launch PwnageTool.

  • Select the 3G image. Click the next arrow.
  • Select the .ipsw bundle that you downloaded in Step 2. Once the software finds the file, it will prompt you to create an .ipsw bundle that you will use to jailbreak the iPhone.
  • Follow the onscreen prompts to put your iPhone 3G in Device Firmware Recovery (DFU) mode.
5.Open iTunes to complete the iPhone jailbreak.
iTunes will detect your iPhone in "recovery mode." Click "OK" to dismiss the popup.
On the Devices menu, hold down the Option or Alt key (depending on if you are on Apple OS X or Microsoft Windows) and click "Restore."
You should now be prompted to select the .ipsw file you wish to restore from. Select the file you created with PwnageTool (the file name should end with "Custom_Restore").
iTunes will restore your iPhone 3G using the custom firmware you created. Once this process is complete, you can safely backup your device and sync your personal information using iTunes
